Blessed To Be a Mom is a mother's group designed to support and affirm women in their many roles. It is a ministry about women bonded by their vocation and their Catholic faith who come together to share the joys and struggles of motherhood. Moms of all ages and all stages are invited to participate in the monthly meetings and socials. For more information e-mail Erica Ross. For current happenings go to our online calendar.

Liturgical Environment Committee is for the purpose of planning and decorating the church for the various liturgical seasons and feast days. Anyone is welcome to come join us as we plan for the upcoming seasons. Aside from those interested in planning, we also need hands-on help in the actual decorating of the Church, especially for Christmas. For more information or to volunteer, contact Angela.

Music is designed to bring worship to God in song through our voices and our instruments. We serve our congregation by leading them to fuller participation in the liturgy each weekend.

Pastoral Juvenil (Young Adult Group) is a bilingual group to provide spiritual, service, and social activities for young adults in St. Mary's Catholic community of Brenham, Texas.

PCCW The Parish Council of Catholic Women meets at 6:00 p.m. on the 1st Tuesday of each month in the AV room of the Education Building. The purpose of the society is to organize Catholic women to accommodate the needs of the parish and carry our Catholic actions as directed by the pastor. On the local level the ladies clean and decorate the altars, supply the altar linens, candles, communion breads, flowers, and wine. They also do enrollments in the Clerical Endowment Fund, send out birth, get well, sympathy, and wedding cards to parishioners, coordinate the recitation of the rosary before Masses, and contribute to an international project called Water for Life.

For more information contact Kay Neuendorff at 979-530-8095.

Perpetual Adoration Our parish is blessed to have perpetual adoration of our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament. If you have never experienced the grace and peace that comes from spending time before Jesus in the Eucharist, stop by the Adoration Chapel in the Cornerstone any time of the day or night. You are assured to receive countless blessings. If you are moved to sign up for a weekly holy hour so that we can keep this grace flowing in our parish, please contact either Francie Grinder at: 251-8525.

The Society of St. Teresa of Calcutta is a Catholic lay organization which gives financial and spiritual support to those in need on a person-to-person basis. They meet with clients in their home to determine immediate needs and to discuss additional community resources that might be beneficial. Aid may take the form of consultation, intervention, or direct financial aid. An essential precept is to provide help while conscientiously maintaining the confidentiality and dignity of those who are served, ever mindful that service to our brothers and sisters in need is in fact a service done to Jesus Himself: In as much as you have done it to one of the least of my brothers, you have done it unto Me. Individuals needing assistance may phone: 979-836-4441 ext. 122 or 979-525-0090

The society does not do fundraisers, but depends on a portion of your donations to the Purple Bag, and/or direct donations to the society. To find out more about donating your time, talent, or treasure, contact Shawn Richards or attend one of the monthly meetings which are held at 6:00 p.m. in the PAC on the 1st Monday of each month.
